Labor Day Weekend 2011

What: Beach Wrestling Tournament (Per USA Wrestling Beach Wrestling Rules)
Where: On the beach in front of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk near the Myrtle Beach Pavilion site at 812 N. Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
When: Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, September 3, 2011.Wrestling starts at 10:30AM – Finish

On-Site Registration: 8:30AM – 10:00AM.  Look for the US Marine Corps Tent near the beach volleyball courts in front of The Bowery.
Pre-Registration: Call Tony Tecco 843-222-8135 or Charlie Soto 843-655-1793.
Entry Fee: $10 for USA Wrestling Cardholders.  $20 for Non-USA Wrestling Cardholders.  Cards expire in August and may be renewed at the event.

Come out for a weekend of sun, sand and wrestling!

Start your day off grappling in the sand and then enjoy everything Myrtle Beach has to offer.
There will be a beach volleyball tournament starting at noon and a concert on the Myrtle Beach Pavilion area starting at 6:00PM.

There will be NO weigh-ins! Only Lightweight and Heavyweight divisions.
Open to male and female athletes of all ages to include:

Male and Female Lightweight and Heavyweight groups 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-18 and 19 & Up. One 3 minute period! 2 points wins the match.

Score by pushing your opponent out of the circle or forcing your opponent to touch a part of their body to the ground! Win by fall when both of your opponents shoulders touch the ground!

No ground wrestling! Throws and hip tosses are welcome and encouraged!
