Hello SCWN,
Excited to have a resource for keeping up with the wrestling in Horry County and SC. I know that wrestling is really seen improvement here in the South Carolina. After being here for 27 years and watching it grow, I have got the wrestling bug again taking on the Assistant Head Coaching with Head Coach Jeff Gibbins at Socastee High School. Me and Coach Gibbins has started a Club called Tough Time Wrestling Club I see a bright future for wrestling in SC and for Horry County with these types of Clubs popping up everywhere and the good wrestling schools have clubs for their feeder programs. Getting our youth programs started in this area is the key to competing on the national and local level. We are already proud to say that we participated in our first tournament and brought home medals and the experience was positive and loads of fun.
